ISO 9001 Certification Support

Certification support helps your organization present a coherent, evidence-based QMS to an independent certification body. Activities often include readiness reviews, evidence pack organization, coaching process owners for interviews, clarifying Stage 1 vs Stage 2 expectations, and helping address findings after CB audits. Beyond Carbon does not issue certificates and does not replace the certification body.

Practical implementation, documentation, training and audit readiness — without acting as the certification body.

  • ISO management-system consultancy
  • Practical implementation
  • Audit readiness
  • Clear role boundaries

What certification support means

Certification support helps your organization present a coherent, evidence-based QMS to an independent certification body. Activities often include readiness reviews, evidence pack organization, coaching process owners for interviews, clarifying Stage 1 vs Stage 2 expectations, and helping address findings after CB audits.

Beyond Carbon does not issue certificates and does not replace the certification body.

How we prepare teams

Preparation focuses on traceability from customer requirements to process controls and records. We help you anticipate sampling areas — design (if in scope), purchasing, production/service provision, nonconforming outputs, complaints, internal audits, and management review.

Mock interviews and guided walkthroughs reduce audit-day confusion without scripting dishonest answers.

After Stage 1 or Stage 2 findings

If the certification body raises nonconformities, support includes clarifying intent, facilitating root-cause analysis, and checking corrective action evidence before resubmission timelines expire.

Your contract with the CB governs close-out rules — we align to those rules rather than inventing them.

Boundaries

We will not coach concealment of known failures. Certification support is readiness and improvement assistance, not a substitute for operating the QMS.

For a plain-language explanation of audit stages, see the certification process topic.

Consultancy vs certification

Beyond Carbon provides ISO consultancy, implementation support, documentation assistance, and audit preparation support. Independent certification bodies issue certificates after successful certification audits. Beyond Carbon does not present itself as a certification body or accreditation body.

What we actually do — Certification Support / Readiness

We help with

  • Readiness assessment against the selected standard and scope
  • Closing documentation and evidence gaps
  • Stage 1 / Stage 2 preparation coaching
  • Finding response guidance (organization-owned)

We do not do

  • Perform the certification audit as a CB
  • Issue or renew certificates
  • Guarantee a pass result

Client responsibilities

  • Selecting and contracting the certification body
  • Presenting real practice to auditors
  • Addressing nonconformities

Typical deliverables

  • Readiness assessment report
  • Gap closure plan
  • Mock / preparation support notes
  • Corrective action guidance
