Compliance as operable controls — not a slogan
Compliance consulting at Beyond Carbon connects your real obligations — contractual, customer, corporate, and where applicable statutory — to management-system controls you can demonstrate. We do not invent nationwide legal mandates, and we do not issue certificates.
The work helps leadership see which requirements matter, how they map to processes, and where ISO standards can provide a coherent control framework.
What compliance consulting covers
Engagements may include obligation registers, control mapping to ISO clauses, conflict and gap analysis across departments, supplier compliance expectations, and governance routines such as management review inputs for compliance performance.
Where anti-bribery, information security, quality, or OH&S standards are relevant, we use them as structured tools — not as automatic proof of legal conformity.
Who seeks compliance consulting
Organizations facing complex buyer requirements, multi-standard customer audits, ethics and integrity programme build-outs, or fragmented ownership between legal, quality, HSE, and IT often need this bridge.
Saudi industrial and commercial groups frequently juggle project specifications, owner standards, and internal policies that need a single operable map.
Our consulting approach
We start with sources of obligation you can show us — contracts, customer manuals, corporate policies, and known regulatory interfaces — then translate them into control statements and evidence expectations. Ambiguous items are flagged for legal counsel; we do not replace lawyers.
ISO management systems become the operating chassis where that fit is useful.
How ISO standards relate to compliance
Standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO/IEC 27001, and ISO 37001 can organize compliance-related controls, but certification to a standard is not a legal opinion and not a substitute for specialized legal advice.
We keep that distinction explicit in stakeholder communications.
Typical deliverables
Deliverables may include an obligation inventory, RACI for compliance controls, mapped procedures, monitoring indicators, and a prioritized remediation roadmap. Optional follow-ons include implementation support or internal audit focus areas.
Outputs are advisory. They are not certificates, licences, or regulator approvals.
Saudi commercial compliance realities
In practice, many “compliance” pressures arrive through tender documents, owner specifications, joint-venture requirements, and customer security questionnaires. Treating only statute while ignoring contractual obligations leaves organizations exposed in audits and disputes.
Our consulting balances those sources without fabricating rules that do not exist.
Boundaries of our role
Beyond Carbon provides management-system and compliance-process consulting. We are not a law firm, not a certification body, and not an accreditation body. Where formal legal interpretation is required, engage qualified counsel alongside our control design work.
Consultancy vs certification
Beyond Carbon provides ISO consultancy, implementation support, documentation assistance, and audit preparation support. Independent certification bodies issue certificates after successful certification audits. Beyond Carbon does not present itself as a certification body or accreditation body.

FAQs
No. We provide management-system and compliance-process consulting. Legal interpretation belongs with qualified counsel.
No. Certification indicates conformity to a management-system standard as assessed by a CB — not a comprehensive legal clearance.
Yes. That mapping is a common engagement — identifying which contract clauses need process controls and evidence.
No. We work from obligations you can evidence and openly flag uncertainties for legal review.
Implementation builds the system against a standard. Compliance consulting emphasizes obligation inventory and control mapping, which may or may not centre on a single ISO certificate goal.
We can help structure management-system elements aligned to standards such as ISO 37001 as consultancy. We do not certify those programmes.
Construction, energy, manufacturing, logistics, technology, and professional services organizations commonly need obligation mapping under complex buyer requirements.
Policies alone are rarely enough. We focus on operable controls, responsibilities, and monitoring — not shelfware.
Internal audits can test compliance controls. Third-party ISO audits remain CB-led and separate from legal inspections.
Share the obligation sources you care about (contracts, policies, standards in scope) via consultation so we can propose a scoped diagnostic.
